Hi! I am Aitor Ameztegui, research fellowand lecturer atthe Universitat de Lleida, and associated researcher at the CTFC(Catalonia, Spain). My main research aims at assessing how different forest management approaches may interact with climate change, and how this can affect the provision of ecosystem services. My research interests also include assessing the causes and consequences of forest expansion and land-use legacies in mountain areas, and understanding the mechanisms that drive species coexistence and forest resilience, particularly post-disturbance. I completed a PhD in Forest Sciences at the Forest Sciences Center of Catalonia (CTFC) in 2013. Between 2013 and 2015 I completed a postdoctoral stage at the Centre of Forest Research (CEF) of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM, Canada), and between 2015 and 2017 I was research fellow at CREAF.
